LUXURIOUS OFF GRID GLAMPING WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE ART OF BEE KEEPING.

OPEN FOR 28 DAYS IN 2017

At Bee Bell Glamping you will find a secluded, luxurious pre-erected Bell Tents at the bottom of a gentle sloping 1.5 acre field.

  • The location is great to enjoy the peace and tranquility of your own field without neighbours cramping your pitch.
  • The only other things you share the field with are 4 working bee hives at the top of the field (and visiting bee keeper!), sometimes hens, the local fox, buzzards, deers and muntjacs.
  • Just so you know, there is a railway line approx. 1/2 mile down the hill, which is not accessible, and in a deep cutting, so you should not be disturbed by it.
  • Chickens are often available for your fresh eggs (not for your BBQ!) - if you feed them and keep the water up, they might repay you with lovely fresh eggs for your breakfast.
  • Your Bell Tent will be well equipped with all you need and Hooked on Glamping accessories.
  • All you need to bring is your own personal items, and some wellies - both for the field, and for bee keeping course.

We keep the field fairly wild, but try to keep the area around the tents mowed.
We use straw bales to add a bit of rustic charm.

Please note:
Due to bees in field, site not really suitable for children, and
  • We do not recommend this site if you are allergic to bees and need an epee pen.  We will have some Piriton available just incase!
We are not allowed to provide an epee pen.
LOCATION

Bee Bells Glamping is off a single track off Trow Lane, SN15 4DN.
We are mid way up the track, and at the top of the track are horse stables.  Other than the traffic occasionally going up to the stables, it is a very quiet location and great for contemplation.
There are fishing lakes, horse riding, golf course and walks in the nearby vicinity.
A short drive to the Cotswold Water Parks.
Lyneham has a great Indian Restaurant which does tasty takeaways.
Local pubs do good food.

Light pollution is minimal, giving a great opportunity for star gazing!
Remember off grid- there is no electricity on the site - just solar power!

Price for 3 nights in the the field to include 2 bell tents, and Beginning Your Bee Keeping Course up to 4 people is £300 + £

Price for 3 nights in the field to include 2 bell tents and The Basic of Beekeeping Course up to 4 people is £480.

NEW BEE KEEPING COURSES FOR 2017

We are working with our local highly experienced beekeeper (Ian Cowdy) to hold Bee Keeping Courses during your stay.

Bees are under threat and need our help to survive, by understanding the behavior and instincts of the honey bee along with their needs and the problems they are encountering you can help a vital part of our environment.

Learning the art of beekeeping is a fascinating past-time, but beware it can become addictive from the very first time you open a hive and peer inside! It is an interest that can just keep growing, as you begin to understand more and more about how these little insects work as an incredible and complex colony there is endless knowledge to gain.
